President of Southern Texas University returned to town and immediately stole Bradley's heart. Bradley was drawn almost immediately to the sexy and sultry Jillian Malone. He thought them both to be kindred spirits and he knew that a relationship with Jillian would be very different from the ones he had with Valerie and Natasha. Bradley's mother who had come to River's Edge for an extended visit also fell in love with Jillian. The couple exchanged wedding vows at the stroke of midnight New Years 2003, much to the dismay of his recently returned son Josh.
when she insisted that her attacker was none other than his presumed dead ex-wife Valerie. Bradley feared for Jillian's mental stability checked her into mental institution for observations. After weeks of observations and Jillian insisted it was Valerie he learned she had not been lying. Valerie kidnapped Jillian and lured Bradley to a restaurant where they celebrated their 2000 anniversary. Valerie blasted Bradley for leaving her and marrying another woman. As he tried to reason with his ex-wife Jillian arrived with Jodi Bradshaw Hayes and their arrival spooked Valerie. Fearing for Jillian's safety he ordered her not to approach them, but Jillian was determined to not lose another man she loved. Bradley watched as the women struggled and within seconds Valerie slung Jillian over the stairs and to her death. Bradley reacted quickly and convinced both Jodi and Valerie to say Jillian fell by accident. Bradley later revealed to Jodi that he covered up Valerie's role in Jillian's death for Jason and Josh.

During Hurricane Ike in 2008 while he worked triage Bradley ordered an overdose of a medication that was administered by his order to a nine year old boy. The child who was also allergic to the medicine began to seize and died. The parents of the child filed a wrongful death suite against Bradley and St. John's Hospital that would later be settled out of court. Although the hospital board stood behind Bradley the guilt of killing his first child in twenty years of practicing medicine ate away at him and he resigned his position.
